Precinct Flex - Pipiri Lane
124 Halsey Street, Wynyard Quarter, Auckland
A hybrid space for innovation, creativity and mingling, Pipiri Lane was brought to life and is now a functional Precinct Flex space. In collaboration with Black, this Wynyard Quarter location is a perfect workplace solution with the beautifully constructed meeting rooms and is a fantastic hosting space given the two large capacity event spaces.
Te Kahui is an innovative and modern event space with a stunning harbor view. The show-stopping design element is its dynamic aluminum wall panel system that can move up and down. This unique feature allows the large bar area to be dramatically revealed to or completely hidden from up to 500 cocktail-style guests, making it much more than a regular bar.
Sustainability of this space was a critical element in the development and construction phases. The neutral and green tones, with timber accents highlight the importance of nature and upholding respect for the natural world at Pipiri Lane. The meeting rooms have been named after some of New Zealand’s native trees; Kawakawa, Kānuka, Mingingi, Manuka, Horopito and Karamu.
The Halsey Traders ground floor event space has been restored to flow through to the new addition of 3 levels of meeting and offices spaces. Structural upgrades were made to ensure the integrity of the space would remain strong; however, it was important that the character of the space remained the same. Halsey Traders has a capacity of 80 guests cocktail style, making this the perfect pre-event or event space. The heritage of this space is celebrated by using shapes, textures and colours. It was important to the Woodland team to ensure our additions to the space celebrated the heritage and didn’t take away character from the space. Halsey Traders is now an operational bar and lounge hospitality space at Pipiri Lane, Precinct Flex.
